(Beverly Hills, CA) - EternalConcepts PR, a Los Angeles-based PR firm, is pleased to announce that four of their clients, Filmmakers Elijah Kelley and Michael Kimbrew, Writer Alton Glass and Actor Vincent M. Ward were involved directly with films accepted in the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) August 7- 12, 2008.
Filmmaker Elijah Kelley premiered his second independent film, Who Killed Bishop Brown? at the American Black Film Festival (ABFF). Screened last Saturday night at the Beverly Mann 13 Theater, the film addresses how deceit, lust and greed cause controversy at church and how the only resolution lies in finding out "who really killed Bishop Brown?" Leading man, Vincent M. Ward, best known for his supporting roles on Everybody Hates Chris and CSI Miami, and also a newcomer to HBO hit drama The Wire, and Actor Tyrone Chapman were also in attendance.
Filmmaker Michael Kimbrew proudly debuted two of his films in the festival; Marco Polo, a thriller about the spirit of famous explorer Marco Polo, and Tons of Love, a buddy comedy about romance and physical preference. In Marco Polo, written by Alton Glass, historic explorer Marco Polo's spirit rises from the dead to haunt a group of college seniors during their weekend camping trip. In the zany and hilarious comedy ride Tons of Love, produced by Michael Kimbrew, two best friends learn that love comes in all different sizes.
"We are pleased that Elijah Kelley and Michael Kimbrew's films were chosen for the festival," Entertainment Publicist Lisa Humphrey shared. "We encourage our all of clients, especially our up-and-coming talent, even those who don't have films submitted to attend. These festivals are a great way to network with other industry professionals."
Celebrating its 12th anniversary, the American Black Film Festival is a unique opportunity for black filmmakers, actors, producers, journalists and film fans to get together to watch the best new independent releases, network with industry professionals and socialize.

The annual event is designed to heighten interest and exposure to Black films, and to salute the cinematic work of Black filmmakers, actors, and actresses. About Marco Polo
In the year 1324 a Venetian traveler who passed himself off as the late, MARCO POLO, made an exhibition to America. While traveling, he was betrayed by members of his crew whom sought to conquer and ravage the land. Callously, they gouged his eyes out, killed his son and raped his wife and children. As he took his last breath he left a curse on the land. Whoever crossed his final resting place would resurrect a spirit of vengeance that would embody the closest physical human form existing. When awakened, the spirit would travel from human to human until life ceased in Marco Polo's burial path.
About Tons of Love
Two best friends learn that love comes in all different sizes. Alfred Johnson and Eric Daniels have been road dogs since high school. They have everything in common except their taste in women. Eric typically falls deep into his pockets for looks and is willing to go the distance to have a "dime piece" on his arm at any cost. Al on the other hand, loves a woman who can keep him warm beneath her healthy bosom during the winter nights. Big, bold, beautiful and pleasantly plump is the way he prefers to roll.
