HOLLYWOOD, CA (August 8, 2008) - Writer, Producer and Filmmaker Elijah Kelley releases his second independent film, Who Killed Bishop Brown?, at the 2008 American Black Film Festival (ABFF) located inside the Beverly Center at the Mann Theater, 8522 Beverly Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90048 on Saturday, August 9 at 7:30 p.m.
Starring Vincent M. Ward, a co-star of television show Everybody Hates Chris and HBO's The Wire, and Grammy Award Winner, Keli Nicole Price, this exciting film addresses how deceit, lust and greed cause controversy in the church and how the only hope for peace lies in finding out "who killed Bishop Brown?".
Additional cast members include: Meah Pace, Micheal LeMelle, Ben Prestbury, L. Rusty Saunders, H. Michael Williams and Mahoghany Harrel. It is filmed by Matthew S. Orchowski and musically composed by Joshua Thomas. This independent film will be released nationwide in major retailers this fall.
